THE 28th MassKara Festival set Oct. 1-21, 2007 will focus on Icons of Bacolod, Mayor Evelio R Leonardia announced Wednesday. As a prelude to the 70th anniversary celebrations set next year, the 2007 MassKara Festival kicks off our campaign to raise awareness and pride for things related to our beloved city, Leonardia said.
Icons of Bacolod are symbols, institutions, products, landmarks and even personalities that have become synonymous to Bacolod like the piaya, the bandstand at the plaza and the San Sebastian Cathedral.
